ORLANDO TEAM RETURNS

The Orlando Mission Team has returned from its EXTRAORDINARY Week of Hope.  Students participated in various service projects - working with dementia patients, assisting in adult Day Care, assisting residents, preparing to move, leading Vacation Bible School, working with fine arts camps, and more.  Special thanks to our team leaders - Sherry and Pat McCaulley and Tracey Barber for their great work with our students,
Week of Hope Summer Staff member Will Harris has finished up his summer of service and did a great job leading the programming in Orlando.  And Will's mother Lois had the unique experience of having her teenage son be her boss while she served as volunteer staff.  We are grateful to both of them for their service to the body of Christ - job well done!

Thank You From CAMP I AM SPECIAL

On July 15 - a team of volunteers from The Village Church served a meal for 120 campers, buddies and staff at Camp I Am Special.  The team was adorned in t-shirts provided by Thrivent Financial which also teamed with the Cavanaugh Family to provide the dinner supplies.  We are grateful to Mike, Maria, and Colin and to Gail Morley at Thrivent for putting together this amazing evening of service.  The team is pictured below, with a thank you from the camp below the photo.

Thank you all - This is such a gift to our camp. Your group was amazing and we hope to see you again next summer. Thank you from all our campers YOU made smile.
